Big Thompson River Loveland Colorado

This painting was also completed during our stay in Big Thompson Canyon.  One of my favorite things to do while at 2 Eagles Resort was to sit in the chair and relax by this Big Thompson River.  The sound of the river is a relaxing way to fall asleep.  Colin (the owner) encountered a bear our first night there and we were so tired we missed all the action.

Big Thompson Canyon Loveland Colorado

This is one of my paintings completed during the two weeks I spent in Big Thompson Canyon between Estes Park and Loveland Colorado.  Big Thompson Canyon will take your breath away, and to be there in August of 2011 instead of  theTexas heat wave was so very special.  Of course this painting is titled:  Big Thompson Canyon.

A Busy Saturday in Granbury

Will be a fun time in Granbury this Saturday.  Visit Your Private Collections Gallery on the square and see this painting "Heavens Bling" by James Haddock.  Next watch artists paint in the shops, and visit the Shanley House Gallery, 224 North Travis, and view the Fall Festival of Art Juried Show and Sale.  "Tech World", a painting by James Haddock will be include in the Juried Show.

Painting selected for the 2011 Fall Festival of Art Juried Show and Sale in Granbury



"Tech World" has been selected for the 2011 Fall Festival of Art Juried Show and Sale.  There will be a sneak preview of the show during the Last Saturday Gallery Night in Granbury on September 24.  The show will be at the Shanley House Gallery which will be open through 9 p.m that night.

The show officially opens on Saturday, October 1, with a reception and awards ceremony beginning at 6:30 p.m.  The show will be open during regular Shanley House Gallery hours through October 29.

Tech World is an acrylic experimental art piece, and matted in an 11" x 15" frame.
